2025 Holiday Burnoff Chocolate Bar Race and NOD 2 Race
Sunday December 28
The Chocolate Bar Race Series is the NBNSC's answer to a low cost, fun series of "race" events open to all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome and races typically take place on the club's most popular trail (the Purple), with shorter trail options (Yellow and Sprint) for the youngest competitors. Everyone is a winner, of a chocolate bar, at these events!!
This year, the Burnoff is also part of the Northern Ontario District (NOD) race series. The intent of the NOD race series is to have low-key, low stress events as a way to expose skiers in the community to ski racing. There will be "NOD Race" categories and the Chocolate Bar Race categories. Entry fees for both events will be the same ($5) and so will the prizes (everyone gets a chocolate bar!!). Results will be separated based on registration in either the NOD event or the Chocolate Bar event.
