The North Bay Nordic Ski Club is a registered non-profit organization whose purpose is to develop and maintain a cross country ski facility for the use and enjoyment of the club membership and the general public; to promote the growth and development of recreational cross country skiing and cross country ski racing in the North Bay area; and to develop ski programs in co-operation with the Northern Ontario Division of Cross Country Ontario and Nordiq Canada.
The club is managed by a volunteer board of directors whose primary duty is to uphold and promote the mandate of the club. The board strives for continous improvement and stronger club for current and future members, visitors, and the cross country ski community.

The club is also supported by dedicated part time / seasonal staff. Our trail grooming crew are paid when they operate the machinery, often in the middle of the night! However they're also some of our most dedicated volunteers, donating time for trail and equipment maintenace in the fall, and other critical tasks throughout the winter. The clubhouse operations are lead by our full-time seasonal Clubhouse Manager and supported by part time staff. The Jackrabbit program is lead by our JR/BR Coordinator.
